  • The applicant is usually required to have at least 36 credits for TESOL related courses. The applicant will be required to pass an oral exam that will determine their execution of the language as well as their understanding and application of the language.
  • Some universities require their Master degree applicants to submit a thesis.

An additional degree in a TESOL related field can be undertaken by applicants that have already received a previous doctoral education.
